How to travel from Mahe to La Digue
The quickest way to travel from Mahe to La Digue is by the non-stop fast ferry from Mahe jetty. But the direct 70 minutes ferry is not a daily service. The most common way is to take a ferry from Mahe to Praslin connecting with a ferry to La Digue. This will take 90 minutes. Ferry transfers can get quite busy so best to purchase the ferry tickets 48 hours before departure. Cat Cocos Inter Island Boats and Cat Rose Inter-Island Ferry are the only two ferry service providers. They have been providing ferry service between Mahe, Praslin and La Digue for over 20 years.
