Full Day Guided Private Tour of La Digue from Praslin Island inc Lunch & Transfers (inc Union Estate Entrance Fees)

Transfer from your hotel to to Baie Ste Anne Jetty for the 15 minutes crossing to La Digue Jetty for onward transfer to l’Union Estate. You tour the copra sheds, the giant land tortoises and the recently refurnished colonial plantation house; location of the film “Goodbye Emmanuel”.

The tour of La Digue resumes by ‘camion’, an open-sided truck with canopy, stopping at Anse Source d’Argent, one of the most spectacular beaches in the world, allowing you ample time to relax, swim and photograph the impressive granite rock formations which are unique to the Seychelles.

A Creole lunch is arranged at a local restaurant at around 13h15, followed by a beach siesta before returning to Praslin island on the 16h30 schooner.

This tour is ideal for the adventurous seeking to explore La Digue island on their own and includes all coach and ferry transfers to & from La Digue.

Upon arrival on La Digue you are greeted by our island representative for a short briefing on the most popular sites, best routes and lunch venues, before our guide hands over a map and the bicycles for the day’s adventure.

The boat trip back to Praslin departs at 16h30, the end of a perfect day – most guests with another day to spare choose to return to the magic of La Digue island.

From the coast with its protective mangroves, to the wetlands which attract dragonflies, moorhens, caecilians & Seychelles terrapins; on to the rejuvenated forest on the hill plateau which provides ideal nesting sites for large populations of shearwaters and bridled terns amongst its endemic trees – mapou, Indian mulberry and bwa sousouri.

Endemic birds found on Cousin Island are the Magpie Robin, Sunbird, Fody, Blue Pigeon and the Warbler.

Curieuse island has a large population of giant tortoises, some can be seen next to the natural pond on the coast, whilst the majority roam across the island freely and can sometimes be tracked by their vociferate calls of intimate congress.

Isle St. Pierre offers you the perfect chance to swim or snorkel in the crystal waters surrounding the island, offering a unique perspective of the colourful life beneath the surface.

Full Day Cousin, Curieuse & St Pierre Islands inc BBQ Lunch on Island (Three Islands)

Transfer from your hotel to Baie Ste Anne jetty for the 2-km crossing at 09h00 to the Special Nature Reserve of Cousin Island.

Our cruiser moors off-shore and tourists are taken to the island on a Reserve boat to prevent accidental introduction of pests to the island. It is highly recommended that tourists come prepared to wrap their belongings in water-proof bags, and that they respect the safety regulations of donning life jackets and remaining seated until the craft is beached.

A warden leads the tour of the island which has abundant species and habitats. From the coast with its protective mangroves, to the wetlands which attract dragonflies, moorhens, caecilians & Seychelles terrapins; on to the rejuvenated forest on the hill plateau which provides ideal nesting sites for large populations of shearwaters and bridled terns amongst its endemic trees – mapou, Indian mulberry and bwa sousouri.

This is Seychelles’ underwater world at its very best, offering a treasure trove of vibrant marine life as well as extraordinary panoramas of the ocean and surrounding islands.

Sister, a private owned island, is known for its tall palms that grow amongst the spectacular granitic rock formations, idyllic beaches of pure white sand, and crystalline water that allows you to have a clear view of the abundant fish life that teams close to the shore.

Sunset Cruise – inc Snacks & Drinks (Min 2 Persons)

Tour starts at 5pm. You will get picked up and taken to the beautiful Cote D’or beach. There you will board your boat which will go cruising along Anse Georgette and Anse Lazio Beaches to enjoy spectacular sunset at sea.

Just sit back, relax and experience the amazing colours of the changing sky over the horizon as the sun begins to set. Enjoy the romantic cruise with tasty snacks and soft drinks while cruising along the bay of Baie Ste Anne.

Seychelles made Takamaka Bay rum cocktail will be offered before the end of your breathtaking memorable sunset cruise which ends at 7.15pm when you will be taken back to your hotel.

Duration of the Sunset Cruise Tour is about two hours.

Day Trip to Fond Ferdinand, Anse Georgette & Anse Lazio – Nature Walk / Trail without Lunch

It is worth visiting the Fond Ferdinand Nature Reserve on Praslin and the starting point can be found by a small red/white sign in the car park at Anse Marie-Louise. The visitor’s center at the reserve is simple but the staff are always happy to welcome all visitors.

This guided tour to Fond Ferdinand Nature Reserve should always be in the morning. With an area of 122 hectares, Fond Ferdinand is more than 6 times larger than Vallée de Mai and is even richer in terms of endemic plant and animal species, including as many Coco de Mer palms as that of Vallée de Mai.

The two / three hour journey up to the viewpoint is well worth it. From this viewpoint you can enjoy the beautiful view of Praslin as well as the other inner islands.

In one direction you can see Curieuse, Sister, Coco, Round, Felicité and La Digue Islands whilst in the other you can see Frégate, Mahé, and Silhouette Islands.

From Fond Ferdinand the rest of the afternoon is spent relaxing at the most beautiful Anse Georgette and Anse Lazio beaches.
