This tour starts with a ferry transfer from Mahe to Praslin Baie Ste Anne jetty. For the 12-km crossing at 09h00 from the Baie Ste Anne Jetty to the Special Nature Reserve of Cousin island; our cruiser moors off-shore and tourists are taken to the island on a Reserve boat to prevent accidental introduction of pests to the island.
It is highly recommended that tourists come prepared to wrap their belongings in water-proof bags, and that they respect the safety regulations of donning life jackets and remaining seated until the craft is beached.
A warden leads the tour of Cousin island which abundance of species and habitats. From the coast with its protective mangroves, to the wetlands which attract dragonflies, moorhens, caecilians & Seychelles terrapins; on to the rejuvenated forest on the hill plateau which provides ideal nesting sites for large populations of shearwaters and bridled terns. Amongst its endemic trees – mapou, Indian mulberry and bwa sousouri. Endemic birds found on Cousin Island are the Magpie Robin, Sunbird, Fody, Blue Pigeon and the Warbler.
The tour continues with a 30minute boat ride from Cousin Island to Curieuse Island, where a splendid BBQ lunch is served on the beach. Curieuse island has a large population of giant tortoises, some can be seen next to the natural pond on the coast, whilst the majority roam across the island freely and can sometimes be tracked by their vociferate calls of intimate congress.
The tour ends with an hour’s snorkeling off the tiny island of St. Pierre. For the un-initiated, our crew is on hand with lightweight snorkeling vests to ensure that no-one misses the chance to view the abundant marine life.

Day Trip Praslin & La Digue by Le Cerf Ferry inc Lunch
Praslin, the second largest island in Seychelles, lies approximately 1 hour by fast ferry from Mahe. Visitors will be able to visit the Vallee-de-Mai, the only place on earth where the giant Coco-de-Mer nut grows in its natural state. A walk along the tended paths of this primeval forest whilst listening to the trill of the rare Black Parrot transports one to the beginning of time. This gives credence to the legends of this World Heritage Site being the original Garden of Eden. The tour includes a visit to the famous Anse Lazio beach, before the 15-minutes crossing to La Digue, during which one has a good chance to spot dolphins.
Immediately upon landing on La Digue Island, visitors will marvel the timeless atmosphere. The comforts of the 21st century blending smoothly with the tranquility of yesteryear, where life has lived mainly at the pace of the oxen. Transfer from the jetty is by ox-cart to L’Union Estate. There a tour of the copra sheds, giant land tortoises and the recently refurbished colonial plantation house, location of the film “Goodbye Emmanuelle” in undertaken.
The tour of La Digue resumes by ‘camion’, an open-sided truck with canopy, stopping at Anse Source d’Argent, one of the most spectacular beaches in the world. You will be given ample time to photograph the impressive granite rock formations. This 11-hour tour, which sometimes starts on La Digue, is an attractive opportunity to visit the highlights of both islands in one day.
All transfers and entrance fees to Vallee de Mai and L’Union Estate are included in this tour.

Day Trip La Digue by Le Cerf Ferry – Boat/Bike without Lunch and Guide
Discover and explore La Digue at your own pace – we will make all the necessary arrangements. Relax and enjoy yourself with this self-guided tour of one of Seychelles’ most charming islands. Arrive by ferry and receive your bicycle at the jetty for a day of self-discovery on beautiful La Digue.

Day Trip Glass Bottom Boat inc BBQ Lunch & Marine Park Fee
The tour starts from the Marine Charter Harbour in Victoria where the marvelous underwater world awaits you in a reef safari adventure by glass bottom boat in the Ste Anne Marine Park.
There we stop to feed the fish and one can explore the fascinating underwater world by snorkeling and swimming with the fishes.
A mouth-watering buffet lunch is served on Moyenne Island which is another island in the marine park. After lunch, there is ample time for marine enthusiasts to explore the reefs through the windows of our semi-submersible vessel or for those more geared to relaxation, take a swim or simply take a nap on the beach of Moyenne Island.

Day Trip Reef Safari (Semi-Submersible) inc Creole BBQ Lunch
Starting with a transfer from your hotel to Victoria’s marina to board the catamaran, Anahita, for a trip to the middle of the harbour, where we stop to feed the fish and to explore explore the reefs through the windows of our air-conditioned semi-submersible vessel.
Thereafter, you are taken to some nearby reefs to enjoy and experience the fascinating underwater world by snorkeling and swimming with the fishes for about one hour.
A mouth watering buffet lunch prepared in traditional creole style is served on board. After lunch, you will be taken by dinghy to Moyenne Island which is an island in the marine park. There you can either swim or relax on the beach or go and and explore Moyenne Island which was once privately owned. There is also a very nice beach on the other side of the island. On Moyenne there are many friendly & harmless land tortoise roaming around freely. It is such a pleasure to watch n photograph them but do note that on Moyenne the tortoise is supreme and have the right of way as it is their home !
For a perfect ending of the day, a “petit rum punch des Iles” is served on board whilst heading back to the Marine Charter and to your hotel.

Day Trip Trail & Catamaran Cruise inc Lunch
[On Request only – Subject to weather conditions (Wed only)]
An opportunity to experience a thrilling adventure trekking and cruising back on our catamaran “Catalina”. Starting from ‘Danzilles’, the palm-fringed trail meanders along the deserted northwest coast which is bordered with granite boulders.
Our experienced guides will talk about the wonders of the flora and fauna along the way. The relatively easy one and half hour walk ends at ‘Anse Major’, where “Catalina” is moored in the sheltered bay. The day’s excursion continues with cruising on Catalina to the Bay Ternay marine park, stopping at some beautiful snorkeling sites on the way. A delicious Creole buffet lunch is served on board
Guests not wishing to swim can spend time feeding the fish or sunbathing on the spacious deck.. For those not wishing to participate may instead choose to remain on “Catalina” and enjoy the sights relaxing on the day-long cruise along the coast. One can also cast a line for a bit of game fishing.

Day Trip Nature Trail to Anse Major / OR Copolia without Lunch
[On request only – Subject to weather conditions (Mon – Fri)]
Anse Major guided nature trail is a walk of one and a half hours duration along the northwest coast of Mahé You will encounter huge granite boulders overlooking Beau Vallon Bay which will lead to the enchanting secluded cove of Anse Major. For about one and a half to three hours you may relax on the beautiful sandy beach of Anse Major, enjoy a swim or explore the surrounding area.
Copolia gives you a bird’s eye view of Mahe Island. If hiking is on your to-do list and you don’t mind maneuvering through trees and climbing a little steep climb, then you should choose Copolia Trail. You will not regret the sweat, pain and shredded calories when you find yourself amidst clouds at the top.

Day Trip Mahe Bus Discovery Tour with Lunch (Shared and Not Private) – On Request Basis
The tour begins with a transfer from your hotel for a stop in the colonial center of “the world’s smallest capital”, Victoria. Highlights to visit are the court buildings, museum, post office, Clock Tower [twin of the one outside London’s Victoria Station].
A turn around the corner takes one to the ‘Codevar’ building where local crafts, including the renowned Kreol Or [Creole Gold] are on display for sale. A walk across Albert Street leads one to the focal point of the town, its colourful market where stalls of fresh fish, tropical fruits & vegetables, herbs & spices, are displayed in an abundance of fragrances. This is followed by a drive across the Sans Soucis mountain pass, with a photo stop at the historical Mission Lodge, en-route to a Creole restaurant for lunch.
After lunch, the tour continues around the southern tip of the island to the restored colonial plantation of ‘Jardin du Roi’, which is steeped in the short history of the Creoles as well as the Georges family, whose family tree apparently carries a link to Louis XVII of France. A cold drink of home-grown fruit welcomes visitors, before they tour the surrounding plantation of vegetables, exotic fruits, herbs and spices.
The rest of the afternoon is for relaxation, with a stop at the Craft Village on the way back to the hotel, at around 16h00.
